1984 is Here Again
The world of George Orwell is with us with a vengeance.
We live in a world where everything is officially called something else.
For example: The Americans are supposedly fighting for democracy in Ukraine.
I remember we used to do various language games during the sixties, which were based on the ideas expressed in The Greening of America. Anyone remember that book?
Question: “What are we doing in Vietnam?”
First Answer: “We are fighting for democracy.”
Second Answer: “We are dropping chemical weapons on women and children.”
Not quite the same thing, you will correctly say. One answer suggests an aim, the other suggests the actuality. That moves on to an excuse. Namely, that the end justifies the means.
The modern situation is different.
“What are we doing in Ukraine?”
First Answer: “We are fighting for democracy.”
Second Answer: “We are doing something else entirely. We are attacking Russia. In doing that we have removed the democratically elected government of Ukraine and installed a military dictatorship, and also caused the deaths of nearly a million people, and the exodus of several million, most of whom have done a runner into Russia.”
In other words, the modern equivalent is the exact opposite of what is stated. That’s a typical scene straight out of Orwell’s 1984.
Let’s go a bit further.
Here’s a basic statement, supposedly of the truth.
The United States is the ally of Western Europe.
If the US is an ally, why did they bomb the Nordstream pipeline and wreck Europe’s power supply? In’t the bombing of a foreign country’s commercial infrastructure an act of war?
Apparently not.
That would then assume that Western Europe is a province of the USA. That has to be the case if it is not an act of war.
Go figure.
Sanctions were set against Russia to bring ruin to that country.
Wait a minute, Western Europe is short of energy, and so most countries in the area are in recession, whereas Russia’s economy is booming at approximately 3%.
None of this seems to add up. Isn’t something wrong with all these ideas? Sounds completely nuts to me.
Just over a hundred years ago we supposedly had a war to end all wars. Nice idea, but it ended up being an appalling piece of the most devastating history. And since then somewhere in the world there has been at least one, and often many wars. And we now have a situation where we have a religious war right in our back yard. I thought those abominations were at an end.
Apparently the Zionists believe they are the true believers, and the gentles (that’s the rest of us) are outsiders. Unfortunately for us, we are not the chosen people, and non-believers are to be wiped out. It is the Jewish god’s commandment that those who are not of the “true” faith need to be killed. That includes children, because they will otherwise grow into adults, and women, because otherwise they will give birth to more gentiles.
For pity’s sake; we cant have this sort of thing in a modern age. This is pure barbarism.
People are talking about a two state solution to the current problem in the Middle East. Those who believe that aren’t paying attention. Zionists keep telling the rest of us that it is their duty to kill every Palestinian, and by implication, every gentile. Is anyone serious in suggesting these two peoples can live peacefully next door to each other? It’s an impossibility. This current state of affairs must be leaving some folks wondering if Hitler and his cronies weren’t right after all.
This isn’t going to stop, is it?
Zionism is ultimately devoted to the removal of gentiles from the face of the earth. Read the Talmud. It’s all there laid out very clearly.
If it’s the Palestinians today, who will it be tomorrow?
If you look carefully into the basis of the beliefs of Zionism it is clearly a terrorist organisation. If you are not a Zionist then it is God’s law that you should be killed. It really is that simple.
I cant help thinking that the current situation is heralding the end of Israel on grounds of simple self protection for the rest of us.
A two state solution is no solution, just a prolongation of this appalling disaster. Instead, we have the makings of a no-state solution.
This mess will either end badly, or it wont end at all.
Meanwhile, back home here in the Algarve, we have the beginnings of a change in the electorate’s views, but sadly no change in the parliament in Lisbon. What’s new? As usual, Murphy’s law has been upheld. It doesn’t matter how you vote, the government always gets in. Welcome to a few more years of chaos, bad government, corruption, and selling the public to Brussels.
Oh yes, and in true 1984 style, the traditionalist Chega party is called the far right, whereas it is the fascists (the real far right) who will form the next government together with the last (supposedly discredited) government smiling in collusion.
Something tells me that democracy is not working any more anywhere.
